Various devices updated to support Project Treble

Treble is an updated Android framework that splits the OS framework int two parts; the kernel of the Android OS and the UI modifications of each manufacturer. Theoretically, this distinguish between the two parts of the operating system allows the updates to be faster.

A device list was published in XDA-Developers with the devices that have officially been updated to support Treble. The list includes:

  • Google Pixel
  • Google Pixel XL
  • Huawei Mate 9
  • Huawei Mate 10 Lite
  • Honor 7X
  • Honor 8 Pro
  • Honor 9
  • Honor 9i
  • Huawei P10
  • Huawei P10 Lite
  • Huawei P10 Plus
  • ASUS Zenfone 4
  • Razer Phone
  • Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro

The list includes devices that were not officially shipped with Oreo, but were updated to support Treble.
