Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 11 Series may not be as distant as you think

SK Hynix, the manufacturer of GDDR5 memories for graphics cards, has informed Gamers Nexus that the production of their next generation GDDR6 memories will take place within 3-4 months time. This means that NVIDIA will begin the production of their new GTX 11 series and the new GTX 1170 and GTX 1180 are on plans. It has been 2 years after the launch of Pascal series and we feel that it was about time that the new series were to be released.

Please note that the production of the new GDDR6 memories costs about 20% more than the old ones. So we hope that the cryptocoin mining madness will fade away, otherwise acquiring the new VGA models will be a very expensive sport for gamers.
