Lenovo announced two new budget devices with 18:9 display panels of HD+ resolution and dual camera setup.
The Lenovo K5 sports an 8-core Mediatake MT6750 Soc accompanied by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It has an LCD IPS panel of 5.7 inches which supports an HD+ resolution (1440 x 720 pixels). As the camera department is concerned, it will have an 8.0MP front camera and a dual camera setup of 13MP and 5MP prospectively at the back side. The battery capacity is at 3000 mAh and there is also a fingerprint reader. Unfortunately, the device will ship with Android Nougat and not Oreo.
Following the same pattern, the Lenovo K5 Play has the exact same features, except for the SoC, which is the power efficient Snapdragon 430 accompanied by 2 or 3 GB RAM and 16 or 32 GB of storage. Oddly enough, the K5 Play will ship with Android Oreo out of the box, despite being the more budget friendly model, costing around 90.00€ in China.
